Piano Tuning - using the computer based Sanderson Accu-Tuner. Special aural checks are also used to assure accuracy and quality. Stephen studied both aural and computer based methods.

• Adjust note sustain pedals.

• Tighten piano benches.
• Tighten and/or replace missing knobs.
• Repair music racks.
• Install Dampp-Chaser equipment and provide replacement parts and supplies.
• Replace missing bridal straps.
• Check for broken or dislocated springs.
• Adjust hammer jacks for best operation.
• Repair or replace action parts.
• Repair or replace defective dampers and felt parts.
• Replace tuning pins if needed.

I work on pianos in homes, churches, fire halls, schools, and colleges. I tune all pianos to pitch as was intended by the factory unless there are serious damage or repair concerns. Exceptions will be made for customers who need unusual tunings for special performance needs.
